HAPPIER TIMES: Matthew Knowles with Beyoncé

BEYONCÉ’S FATHER and former manager Matthew Knowles has reportedly denied that he stole money from his superstar daughter.

Beyoncé sacked her father as her manager earlier this year, and at the time, the pair said their business parting was amicable.

But celebrity website TMZ has allegedly obtained documents in which Knowles suggests that concert promoter Live Nation was behind his dismissal as Beyoncé’s manager, after the company told Beyoncé that her father ‘had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to.'

Knowles goes on to point out that Live Nation convinced Beyoncé to have her law firm conduct an audit, after which, the law firm concluded that Knowles had indeed stolen money from her, which then prompted him being fired as her manager.

However, Knowles insists the accusations of theft are false and reportedly wants to take legal action to clear his name.
