Bishop Eddie Long 'abuse victim' facing gun and drugs charge

ARRESTED: suspected drug dealer Jamal Parris

ONE OF four men who accused Bishop Eddie Long of sexual misconduct has been arrested and charged with dealing drugs.

Jamal Parris, 24, was stopped by Miami police last week in possession of 181 grams of marijuana carrying an estimated 1,000 dollars street value.

It has been alleged that officers also confiscated a Taurus semi-automatic handgun. Parris was also said to have been carrying 1,250 dollars in cash.

The young man, who recently settled out of court with Long over the sex lawsuit, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm.

Arresting Officer Sergeat Seth Dubinsky, who stopped Parris in his brand new white BMW, told the Atlanta Post: "He kept telling me he bought it with the settlement money."
