BME businesses celebrated at Croydon forum

CROYDON COUNCIL and Croydon BME forum will celebrate business and entrepreneurship among the black community at Braithwaite Hall Croydon Clocktower on Wednesday (Oct 31).

The event, which serves as a grand finale to Black History Month, will include a line up of insightful, motivational and inspirational keynote speakers including Dr Diahnne Rhiney, Kenny Imafidon, Remy Williams, plus more.

Speaking ahead of the event, councillor Patsy Cummings Croydon Council's BAME Champion said; “We need to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of the many businesses and entrepreneurs from the BME community past and present during Black History Month, as they make a valuable contribution to the British economy."
