LARA'S SQUEEZE: Jamey Bowers is dating Brian Lara

BRIAN LARA seems to have found something special in Scotland – a beautiful new girlfriend.

The 44-year-old former West Indies batsman is reportedly in a relationship with Miss Scotland winner Jamey Bowers, who is 20 years younger than him.

The pair got to know each other through ex-Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke, which resulted in them becoming friends before their romance blossomed.

Lara’s new love is quoted by Edinburgh News as saying: “It's early days. I didn't want anyone to know, but Brian's been declaring his love all over the place.

“He's charming, romantic and fun. We'll see what happens.”

Bowers has certainly picked a sporting legend for a boyfriend – Lara is considered one of the best batsman to have ever played cricket.
