'THE VOICE' joined throngs of happy party people yesterday (August 27) for the first instalment of London's annual summer highlight, Notting Hill Carnival.

We were treated to a bright and sunny Sunday. Temperatures hovered around the 80 degree mark, adding to the excitement enjoyed by crowds who indulged in dancing along with the procession of floats, including the Candy Mas/Voice truck who danced in face paint to soca; setting the scene for the stars of the troupe, the children, to get their fill of fun.

Sunday is known as Children's Day and features mas(querade) bands donned in colourful, innovative costume dancing behind their designated floats to Caribbean music blaring from the heavy speaker boxes on top of the moving centrepieces.

As we begin our second day of #VoiceDoesCarnival, enjoy a selection of snaps from yesterday - comment if you see yourself or a friend!
