Craig David announces 20th anniversary tour

TOUR: Craig David

CRAIG DAVID is celebrating 20 years in the business with an arena tour across the UK.

The tour, which begins April 13 in Cardiff,, coincides with David’s groundbreaking debut album Born To Do It, which is considered a British R&B classic.

The musician will visit eight other cities with the final show at London’s O2 Arena taking place April 25.

Speaking about the tour, David said: “I can’t wait to bring my live band and TS5 shows together for this special 2020 arena tour and, given that it’s 20 years since the release of Born to Do It, there will be some special surprises in there.”

The Southampton native has enjoyed a career resurgence, after stepping away from the spotlight following the release of five albums and a number of top ten hits.

The 38-year-old regained the public’s attention - and ears - after collaborating with the likes of Big Narstie and Kaytranada.

Tickets for Craig David’s 2020 tour will go on sale at 10am on Friday September 13.
