Deceased TLC member could return as hologram

OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION: Chilli (left) and T-Boz

A THIRD of former girl group TLC revealed that all of the trio could reunite for a comeback tour next year even though member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes passed away in 2002.

Lopes died in a car crash aged 30 but Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas said that there is a possibility Lopes could return as a holographic projection.

Chilli was in attendance at the MOBO Awards at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on November 3 where, alongside Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, they picked up the Outstanding Contribution to Music award.

Chilli told The Metro: “The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago, obviously timing is everything but we’re definitely talking about it.

“It will be hard on us but I certainly think our fans would love to see it. We would definitely be the first group to ever do it.

“I think we would probably pass out and all of our fans would break down but it’s amazing how real the hologram looks, it’s almost like you can touch the person.”

She added: “It’s great but spooky at the same time but we’re definitely thinking about it.”
