CHELSEA STRIKER Demba Ba has told reporters that his fellow colleagues are “happy” with the prospect of having Jose Mourinho back at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho to Chelsea is arguably the worst kept secret in football to date, and despite the ever growing news of the self-declared "Special One" returning to the Premier League, Ba is certain that his fellow team-mates will welcome him back with open arms.

The former Newcastle striker believes the Portuguese manager’s time with the west London club will help to make a major impact in their quest for more success.

Ba said: "You see what he has won, what he has brought to his teams and to his players individually, and of course he is one of the best.

"He knows everything about Chelsea having already managed the team for three or four years. He knows everybody here and he knows the club

"Everybody is thinking about it and everybody is happy. They know that he is a person that wants to win."

With Mourinho’s departure from Real Madrid confirmed, the arrival of the former Porto and Inter Milan manager to the Premier League appears set in stone.
