WEDDING SINGER: Diana Ross with 25-year-old son Evan

DIANA ROSS will perform at her son’s upcoming wedding to singer Ashlee Simpson, a source has revealed.

The 70-year-old founding member of The Supremes will take the stage on son Evan’s big day ending months of speculation about whether she would perform. It is believed her daughter Rhonda Ross Kendrick will be joining her on stage too.

But Diana won't be the only major icon in the room that nigh, the source also revealed to E! News that Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson have also been invited to the wedding.

Evan, 25, and Ashlee, 29, the younger sister of singer Jessica Simpson, announced their engagement in January but haven't yet revealed their wedding date.

"Honestly, we could go and get married right now, wherever," Evan told E!

"We just want to be married. We're in love. This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I'm young, but the same time, I've lived a different life than most and I can't think of a happier moment."

Evan and Ashlee celebrated their engagement in March with a party surrounded by family.
