THE DUCHESS of Sussex has been keeping busy the past few weeks, with the announcement of various ventures.

From guest-editing the September issue of British Vogue to collaborating on a fashion line to support unemployed women, HRH is continuing to share her interests and passions through a variety of projects - and now she may be embracing another.

According to reports, The Duchess is writing a children’s book believed to be about her rescue dogs.

According to The Sun, a royal insider said: “Meghan is going to become a published author and is very excited about it. The plans are in the very early stages and won’t be formally announced for some time. But she’s very excited about the possibility and is passionate about the idea of a work of fiction for children.”

This wouldn’t be Markle’s first foray into the literary world. Last year, she wrote the foreword for the charity cookbook Together: Our Community Cookbook, which featured recipes from women who were affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

A portion of the cookbook’s proceeds went to Hubb Community Kitchen via the Royal Foundation.
