STAR: Fantasia
GRAMMY-AWARD winning R’n’B singer Fantasia has joined the line-up for the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration.
The When I see you singer will share the New Orleans stage with performances from gospel stars Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Winans and Bishop Paul S. Morton.
The event, which will be hosted by Kirk Franklin, will be held at the UNO Lakefront Arena on Friday, Feb 1.
The news comes after super-producer H-Money defended the star against scathing reports that claimed she is troubled.
Speaking exclusively to The Voice he said: “When she came to the studio I was nervous.”
“I had heard so many stories, that she was crazy, and that she did crazy stuff and I didn’t know if I could deal with that. But when she came to the studio, you would think that we were born from the same father and mother,” he added.
The pair have collaborated on every track on Fantasia's latest album which is expected to be released later this year.
