Fury calls for Wilder rematch at Old Trafford

SPECTACLE: Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury

FOLLOWING THE explosive fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, the Brit has said he wants a rematch to take place at Old Trafford.

Fury, called on promoter Frank Warren to get the rematch staged at Manchester United’s stadium, following his performance in Los Angeles that saw him controversially denied a points victory over Wilder.

When Warren was asked whether he would like to see a rematch in the UK, he replied: "I’d love the rematch. I’d love to see it in the UK. We’d fill a football stadium up, Wembley, Arsenal, any of those big stadiums…"

Fury, a Man Utd fan, then interrupted Warren and said: “Old Trafford, come on Frank!"

However, Warren remains open-minded about where the second bout could be staged. "In Britain that is an 80,000 job,” said Warren. “Vegas will be drooling for this. When was the last time you saw a great fight in USA. Tyson and Deontay have livened up this decision. The best fought the best but it was not the best decision."
