TALENT: One Voice Collective

OVER 100 Christian and gospel artists from across the UK gathered at Upper Room Productions in Dunstable to record Strength to Go On at Upper Room Productions recently.

The group of singers have been named One Voice Collective for this project, and the song has now been released as a charity single to raise money for Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, the African countries hit by Cyclone Idai in March this year.

This charitable project – One Voice – is spearheaded by UK music visionaries, Lawrence “LJ” Johnson who founded 1990s mainstream chart-topping groups Nu-Colours and London Community Gospel Choir, and Les Moir, an A&R Manager at Integrity Music.

FAITH

Lawrence ‘LJ’ Johnson said: “Having seen the devastation in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, it renews my faith in mankind that we as a community were able to come together to uplift these nations in song with One Voice.”

Money raised from single sales will be donated to Tearfund for their emergency response to Cyclone Idai project.
