I’m glad Rastamouse is educating kids, says Reggie Yates

HIT: Rastamouse

BBC PRESENTER Reggie Yates has said he’s glad he’s getting to educate young kids about culture as the voice of popular mouse detective on CBeebies, Rastamouse.

He told Scottish newspaper, the Daily Record recently that growing up, he “…didn't see much that was anything like me or my family and friends on television. I'm incredibly proud to be part of something that is in the mainstream and part of popular culture. If you're a kid growing up now in the UK, there are so many different dialects and cultures out there, and that's something I'm very proud of.

"We live in a broad multicultural society and I'm glad to know that I'm educating people as part of something like Rastamouse.”
