Inter Milan charged with racist behaviour of their fans

INCIDENTS: Tottenham versus Inter Milan

ITALIAN CLUB Inter Milan have been charged for the racist behaviour of their fans during the Europa League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at the San Siro on March 14.

Monkey chants were reported during the game and inflatable bananas were also spotted in the crowd.

European football’s governing body Uefa have ordered for a case to be heard on April 19.

This is not the first time that Inter have faced allegations of racism from their supporters.

They were fined £43,000 by Seria A figureheads after their fans were found guilty of racially abusing AC Milan players Mario Balotelli and Sulley Muntari in February.
