CONTROVERSIAL: Dr Conrad Murray and Michael Jackson (right)
THE PERSONAL Doctor of late singer, Michael Jackson, allegedly told paramedics that star was “fine” as he lay dead, reports have revealed.
According to legal documents filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, LA paramedic, Richard Senneff, has reportedly said that Dr Conrad Murray lied about Jackson's critical medical condition before he died in June 2009.
Mr Senneff claims that Dr Murray said that the 50-year-old muscian did not have a "problem" and instead insisted that, "He was practising all night. I’m just treating him for dehydration."
He also alleges that when he asked the doctor whether the Thriller singer had been taking any drugs, Dr Murray responded: "No, he is not taking anything."
But shortly after the 58-year-old changed his story and confessed to giving the father-of-three the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam "to help him sleep".
Dr Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial, which is expected to be televised, is scheduled to begin later this month.
