JAMAICAN PROPERTY: Advice on buying will be given in magazine and at event

A FREE expo and magazine aimed at helping overseas-based Jamaicans and other UK residents find investment, retirement and holiday properties in Jamaica are to launched at the end of July.

Jamaica Property Magazine Ltd will be launching its new glossy magazine at the Jamaica Property Magazine Launch and Expo on July 30, at the Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton, south London.

The event, which runs from 11:00am to 8:00pm, will allow people to meet face-to-face with developers from Jamaica and have access to a wide range of services including conveyance, mortgage, travel and shipping.

They will also be able to get information on applying for a Taxpayers Registration Number (TRN) and making National Housing Trust (NHT) contribution from the UK.

The 72-page Jamaica Property Magazine, which will be on sale at the event, will offer 200 properties from all of Jamaica’s 14 parishes to promote Jamaica’s property market and encourage UK residents to invest.

Tamoy Carter, director of Jamaica Property Magazine Ltd, explained: “We believe that Jamaica is not only a beautiful island, but it also has one of the most lucrative real estate markets compared to many other countries and this is why we are so proud to be showcasing Jamaica to the UK.”

The event is being supported by sponsor Transpakship International Ltd and the Jamaica Tourist Board.
