Jennifer Hudson: Personal trainers get on my nerves!

SHE MAY have lost a whopping 80lbs (over five stones), but Jennifer Hudson says that excessive training regimes aren’t her thing.

The Oscar winner who lost her shed the pounds by following the Weight Watchers plan, says that, unlike her fiancé, professional wrestler David Otunga, she’s not interested in working out all the time.

“One of my things about weight loss is encouraging people to find their way and do what works for them,” Hudson told The Voice. “Like my fiancé, he’s at the gym every day – I don’t wanna be at the gym every day!”

She added: “That’s my thing with personal trainers; often they set goals for people without really knowing what that person’s goal is. One of my friends is a fitness trainer and he called me one day, fussing about how one of his friends wouldn’t do this and that in the gym and how he’s not trying to reach his goal.

“I was like, ‘Maybe that’s the goal you’ve set for him, but maybe it’s not the goal he’s set for himself.’ So I think it’s really important for people to find what works for them.”
