Kevin Hart defends his films after 'stereotypical' criticism

DEFENDING HIS ART: Actor and comedian Kevin Hart

COMEDIAN AND actor Kevin Hart doesn't usually take himself too seriously, but when it comes to his art, he's not one to mess around.

The funny man took to Twitter to defend his films, after a critic tweeted him and accused them of being "stereotypical".

“When are black celebs like @KevinHart4real & @MarlonWayans gonna stop doing stereotypical movies?” @tashyonlaneigh asked.

Hart then responded in a barrage of tweets, defending his work.

He tweeted: "From the movie business...Ex "Black Movies".....I make movies for everyone, I'm actually overseas promoting my movie on an international level.

"I'm busting my ass so other actors of color can eventually get the title "Black Movie Category" removed from the projects that we do." (sic)

He then directed some tweets at his critic, @tashyonlaneigh: "So @tashyonlaneigh I want u 2 realize that people with ur mindset & level of thinking are the reason why our movies get categorized." (sic)

The Get Hard star, who was recently in the UK performing his What Know stand-up show, then went on to blame the Twitter troll for being "part of the problem" black actors are experiencing.

"In the future @tashyonlaneigh I don't want 2 hear u complain about any of da problems that Black actors r havin Bcuz ur apart of the problem." (sic)
