MEL B has filed for divorce from husband Stephen Belafonte, after 10 years of marriage.

The former Spice Girl cited "irreconcilable difference' in the divorce papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, according to E!.

According to the showbiz site, the couple are seeking joint custody of the couple’s six-year-old daughter, Madison, and revealed that they've been officially separated since December 28 2016 - despite posting pictures together across social media.

The couple got married in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in June 2007, having dated for just five months.

Mel B also has two other children - Angel Iris Murphy Brown, who is Eddie Murphy's daughter, and Phoenix Chi Gulzar.
