Mick Jagger set to produce James Brown biopic

LEGENDARY ROCKSTAR, Mick Jagger, has reportedly signed on as a producer of the forthcoming James Brown biopic.

The Rolling Stones singer, who had a friendship with late the ‘Godfather of Soul’, is set to join producer Brian Grazer in developing the film for the big screen.

Jagger reportedly said on the project: "It's a great honor to be involved with a project as rich as the story of the legendary James Brown. He was a mesmerizing performer with a fascinating life."

Many reports have suggested that Oscar-award winning director, Tate Taylor, is in talks of getting involved in the movie, which has been in production since 2004.

The plot will follow the singer's journey from childhood to his rise to fame.

There has been no confirmation as to whom will play Brown in the film.
