For his first album in two years, Craig David will be releasing The Time Is Now on January 26. This new project will include many different collaborations, from Bastille, AJ Tracey to Kaytranda - with songs that will "Stand the test of time" according to the crooner.

2. Cardi B

Arguably, Cardi B was the 'it' girl of 2017. With her hit song Bodak Yellow and features on G Eazy's No Limit and Migos Motorsport - plus the release her new track Bartier Cardi she sees no sign of stopping.

The rapper is tipped to release her highly anticipated debut album this year, and has reportedly got “six or seven solid” tracks so far.

R&B quartet En Vogue are making a comeback, releasing their seventh studio album Electric Café on March 30. The album will include contributions from Raphael Saadiq, Ne-yo, Dem Jointz as well as the production team Foster & McElroy, making this an anticipated R&B album from a female group - something we rarely hear these days.

4. Jorja Smith

The smooth vocals of British singer Jorja Smith made her 2018 Brits Critics' Choice Award winner, and a favourite among fans including collaborator Drake. With a new tour for 2018, there's no doubt that new music is on the way from the singer-songwriter and we can't wait to hear it.

5. Earl Sweatshirt

Earl Sweatshirt's last album I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside was released in 2015, and he has teased the arrival of new music in 2018. "new chunes 2018, don't think i wasn't at work," he tweeted on New Years Eve - much to the excitement of his fans. Earl has been known to preview new music, both during concerts and his “Stay Inside” RBMA radio show with Knowledge - keep an ear out, as I'm sure previews will be on their way soon.

6. Migos - Culture 2

Love them or hate them, Migos have been ruling the clubs and the charts since the release of Culture in January 2017. Now the trio are back with new bangers, and are set to release Culture 2 this year. If it's anything like their previous work, expect a lot of hits coming your way.
