BAN: Nicki Minaj's latest video deemed to explicit for TV

RAPPER NICKI Minaj's latest video has been banned by television channel BET, it has been reported.

American gossip site TMZ spoke to the channel's spokesperson who confirmed the network would not be showing the video for the song Stupid H*e, branding it 'too explicit' for TV.

The video, which broke YouTube records for numbers of views in one day, shows several scantily-clad female. while the colourful rapper repeats the phrase 'stupid h*e' a dozen time.

The video, which is directed by Hype Williams and features Minaj as a foul-mouthed barbie, garnered 4.8 million views in 24 hours - the highest single video.

It currently has over 20 million views a little over a week since it was uploaded.
