BRITISH NEO-soul singer Omar will be performing at this years Miss Jamaica UK beauty pageant.

The musician told The Voice that he's "looking forward" to performing at the the annual pageant, which will take place tomorrow (Nov 29) in Hammersmith, London.

Mentor, teacher, entrepreneur and former model June Daley has scoured the country to find the most graceful, proud and talented Jamaican girls by heritage.

For its 25th year, the pageant will showcase 15 of these young females at their best; providing them with a significant platform to a world stage where the winner will be presented with the opportunity to explore the land of Jamaica and all its glory and culture.

Proceeds from the pageant will go to this year’s nominated charity, the Jamaican Inner City Foundation.

This night we will also pay homage to the late Flip Fraser, creator of Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame.
