OPRAH WINFREY has reportedly called reality TV star Kim Kardashian a “phony” following her recent humanitarian trip to Haiti.

The former TV host, who was also in Haiti on a seperate charity mission, allegedly claimed Kim used the trip to repair her damaged reputation following divorce, after just 72 days of marriage, from basketball star Kris Humphries.

According to the Enquirer, Oprah was angry because Kim "spent a fortune pampering herself" and stayed in a five-star hotel on the improvished island while she joined actor Sean Penn in Haitian refugee camps.

Following the reports the 31-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star took to her Twitter account to brush off rumours of a rift between Oprah, by replying to a tweet sent by the media mogul.

She wrote: "Seeing the tents they STILL live in is devastating! Every1 can help" in response to Oprah tweeting, "500k Haitians still homeless!Like the earthquake happened yest [sic]."
