VISIT: British royal Prince Harry begins four day tour of caribbean Island for diamond jubilee
JAMAICA'S GOVERNMENT has said that 'all is in place' for the arrival of Royal Prince Harry today.
Prince Harry is scheduled to arrive at the Norman Manley International Airport this afternoon for a four-day official visit.
During his time in Jamaica, the royal will visit the University of the West Indies, the Bustamante Hospital for Children, Victoria Jubilee Hospital and the Rise Life Management Service in Kingston.
He is also slated to be hosted by Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller at the historic Devon House and by the Governor General at a state dinner at King’s House.
In addition, Harry will take part in military exercises at Up Park Camp alongside soldiers of the Jamaica Defence Force.
The prince is visiting Jamaica on behalf of his grandmother, The Queen, who is celebrating the 60th anniversary of her accession this year.
The Jamaican government has disclosed that it will spend $3 million to host Prince Harry.
