SHOCKING: Dina And The Prince Story (Photo credit: My Pingu TV / YouTube)

A CHILDREN’S cartoon, has been branded ‘disgusting’ and ‘extremely racist’ for a scene depicting a cursed princess turning black when she loses her beauty.

Dina And The Prince Story, made by My Pingu TV, is a children’s bedtime story. The video was uploaded on July 17th and has since been viewed almost 400,000 times.

The 13 minute video tells the story of an angel, Dina who falls in love with a prince. The catch is that she is unable to speak to the prince, or she will lose her beauty. Dina makes a deal and decides to give up her beauty.

Once she makes this decision to give up her beauty, you see her as white cartoon with straight brown hair slowly transform into a black cartoon with curly hair.

Simultaneously, the narrator says
"She is not as beautiful. Her glow is gone and her face is scarred,”

The princess then describes herself as being “ugly"

The comment section is flooded with irate responses to the blatant racism in the children’s fairy tale.

"This video is extremely racist and the fact that a lot of children are watching this makes my blood boil," one person wrote.

Another said: “This is actually so disturbing. Imagine being in 2019 and still trying to perpetuate the stereotype that black women/darker skin tones are ugly and undesirable.”

Mr Pingu TV is yet to make a comment on the matter.
