NEWLYWEDS: Maximillion Cooper with new wife Eve

FOLLOWING KELLY Rowland’s Costa Rica nuptials and the Kardashian-West Italian extravaganza, the trend of destination weddings continues.

Rapper Eve married her long-term partner Gumball 3000 founder and CEO Maximillion Cooper on the Spanish island of Ibiza on Friday (June 13).

The couple, who met in 2010, became engaged on Christmas day after three years of dating.

In the presence of friends and family, the pair exchanged vows on to coincide with the closing of this years Gumball Rally – an annual motor racing which covers over 3000 miles and was founded by Cooper in 1999.

"We met on the 2010 Gumball 3000 rally so it only seemed right to have the wedding at the finish of this years rally in Ibiza, which was the final stop on this years event," the couple explained.

This is Cooper’s second marriage and the first for Eve.

The newlyweds told Us Weekly: “We are beyond happy to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family and start our journey in our new life together.”

"I'm so happy to make Eve my wife," the Cooper, also a fashion designer, shared with E! News.

"The whole experience has been amazing and we are both so happy to have tied the knot."

The hip-hop beauty will be stepmother to the racecar mogul’s children from a previous marriage.
