So Solid Crew release new single online

CREW COMEBACK: So Solid Crew members, left to right, Neutrino, Romeo, Harvey, Oxide, Megaman, Swiss and Kaish (PA)

UK GARAGE group So Solid Crew unveiled latest single UK Hot Wid It online to fans.

The song, produced by Orange Hill, is out in September and features the original members such as Megaman, Lisa Maffia, Romeo and more.

It marks their first new material in three years, with them also releasing a Best of Me album in September.

So Solid Crew in their hey day had four top ten singles and a top ten album They Don’t Know, and scored a UK number one with their debut single 21 Seconds in 2001.

Days before Lovebox music festival in Victoria Park, east London, So Solid Crew revealed they were cut from the bill. They were scheduled to perform at the three day festival last Saturday (July 20).

MC Harvey took to Twitter to air his dismay. He said: "We have been removed with no valid explanation... Another artist don't want us on the same stage as them ... We gave these arseholes careers."

In a statement Lovebox event organisers denied any other artist had been involved in axing them from the line up.

They said the decision was due to “circumstances out of our control.”
