TWO YOUNG siblings in the US used their faith to help stop their school bus bully from picking on them.

Phoenix and Kingston Walwyn started riding the bus home from school three months ago.

When another kid on their bus started to call them names, they had a unique way of dealing with it -they gave him a Bible.

At first, the name-calling upset these two kids, and they told their mum.

“It made me feel like I wanted to yell at him,” said eight-year-old Phoenix.

Her seven-year-old brother Kingston added: “I wanted to say [something] back to him.”

Their mother, Kyla, spoke with administrators, but the bullying persisted, and that’s when the family came up with a new idea, reported The Grio.

“I sat back and was like, I don’t want to have to take my shirt off and meet [the bully] at the bus stop, you know what I mean,” their father, Vaughaliagan Walwyn, who preaches at CT Legacy Church, said.

“So, I prayed about it and God said, 'You know what, let’s get this kid a Bible. Tell him Jesus loves him and invite him to church and see what happens'.”

“We gave it to [the bully] and two minutes later when it was almost his stop to get off, he just said thank you and sorry for all the bad stuff I did to you,” Phoenix recalled.

Ever since giving their bully a Bible, the children say that there has been no more bullying.

“I don’t know, maybe [the bully] started to read the Bible at his house and found the scripture about it,” suggested Phoenix.

Their dad, who was surprised by the bully’s reaction, said, “I was like, ‘Really?’ So, that kind of caught me off guard that it worked that fast or the kid was convicted.”

Now, they’re glad the bullying has stopped, and the Walwyn family has newfound faith in the power of their beliefs.
