KILLED: Yemi Kanyangarara
POLICE INVESTIGATING the murder 16-year-old Yemurai Kanyangarara last week (July 1) have charged a third teenager with his murder.
The 15-year-old boy from Peckham, south London has been remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Youth Court this morning (July 9).
Yemurai Kanyangarara, 16, was stabbed in his neck on Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, south east London as he made his way from Bexleyheath on the number 96 bus with a friend.
When Yemurai alighted the bus he was approached by three teenage boys, one of whom took a weapon from his clothing, believed to be a knife, and stabbed him in the neck. The suspects then fled into adjoining streets together, leaving Yemurai dying at the scene.
Two other males, aged 14 and 15, appeared at Camberwell Youth Court on Thursday, 7 July accused of the schoolboy’s murder. Both were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 11 July.
