IF THERE is one subject guaranteed to get black folk worked up, it is the European love of a dog.
The very thought of a pet being allowed into the home, let alone sleep on a bed or sofa would have many gripped by a seizure.
Black folk are too obsessive about hygiene to warm to the idea of dogs and people in close proximity. And don't even get my mum started about the sight of someone letting their dog lick them in the face.
If there is a story that would the ultimate in repulsion for us, it would be the report today about the Irish woman who died after having sex with a dog.
Just having a dog in yer bedroom, let alone the unspeakable nastiness, is probably too much to contemplate for many.
In case you missed the story…..
A man was before Limerick District Court after his Alsatian dog had sex with a 43-year-old woman. The woman later died from an allergic reaction.
The incident happened in 2008 and the dog has been held in custody since.
Irish newspapers reported that 57-year old Sean McDonnell was the first person ever tried under the legislation banning sex with animals.
Apparently the sex was consensual as the dead woman and McDonnell had met on a bestiality chat room and decided to follow up.
Police are apparently satisfied that the sex was consensual.
The woman fell ill after the incident and was rushed to Limerick hospital where she died from a severe allergic reaction to the sex.
McDonnell could face a life sentence in prison if found guilty.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we really do live in a very sick world.
