NORTH LONDON bakery Uncle John's is launching into select Morrisons stores with their ever-popular signature sweet bread. From February 25 customers can pop into their local Morrisons store and purchase their bread and the company’s other baked products such as savoury chin chin, bofrot (Ghanaian doughnut) and sponge cake.
“We are excited to be bringing our products to our customers on a larger scale. Over the past two decades, we’ve built a strong reputation for quality and customer service,” said Sam Mensah, managing directorm Uncle John’s Bakery.
“We have been busy throughout the year scaling up our business which includes achieving the SALSA food safety and hygiene accreditation, expanding our team and improving our facilities for growth. We will continue to work hard in the coming year and have big plans for 2019,” he added.
As the original family baker of Ghanaian sweet bread and other baked delights, their mission hasn’t changed. They will continue to deliver, fresh, soft to the touch bread with a home from home experience but on a larger scale.
