CELEBRATE THE poetry anthology TEN and follow us on a trail around the V&A as we hear newly commissioned work performed within the V&A galleries.
Join poets Mir Mahfuz Ali, Rowyda Amin, Nick Makoha, Roger Robinson, Shazea Quraishi and Jan Kofi-Tsekpo as they share their craft of powerful, moving and exceptional poetry.
Listen to sounds from eclectic worlds, genres and decades with three of London’s finest selectors: Charlie Dark, Rita Ray and Max Reinhardt, then hear Brooklyn-based artist Tracie Morris with her
unique style of word play.
Take part in a Q&A session hosted by writer and co-editor of the anthology TEN Bernardine Evaristo MBE, and expand your mind on one of our creative writing and digital workshops. Carol Ann Duffy, Poet
Laureate on TEN said: "talents who demonstrate the richness, energy and confidence of the poetic voice in our multicultural country. It is a joyful and important moment in publishing."
The event is in association with Spread The Word, Bloodaxe Books and The Books Project.
DJ sessions are free and on a drop-in basis.
