Chronixx: ‘I give thanks for my UK fans’

GRATEFUL: Reggae star Chronixx

REGGAE STAR Chronixx says his UK fans have been the “the most supportive” of all of his fans throughout the world.

The Here Comes Trouble hitmaker expressed his appreciation for his British supporters and revealed that he sometimes feels as though his music was created specially for the UK market.

“I would like to give a great thanks to the UK massive, who have been the most supportive of all the people in the world,” the 22-year-old told The Voice.

“Every time I come to the UK, everything is ok [laughs]. The shows are always sold out and the people are always receptive. It’s almost as if the music was specially created for them. That always reassures me that I’m doing the divine work.”

He added: “Please put that in the newspaper: Chronixx is really grateful for the love he’s been getting in the UK. I really want everybody to see and hear that.”

Further expressing his love for his British fanbase, the singer, born Jamar Rolando McNaughton, said that Brits appreciate good music.

“I really don’t get that pop star feeling from the UK,” says the Jamaican singer. “When I’m there I feel like I’m a musician; like an artist. The UK is one of those places that still appreciates good music.

“Other places, as long as the artist is cute, that’s good enough for them! When I come to the UK and listen to the radio, I hear good music. Big up Maverick Sabre and Rudimental and all of those people making good music.”
